Green Hybrid and Full electric.
Fast sailing to your survey location is a possibility but on battery power with full electric will take some extra time but is fully sustainable and also silence green survey during the day.
This up to a maximum of 4 hours.
At this moment we are refitting one of our vessels to go Fully green. We take out the main diesel engine for the fast sailing to the survey area and adapt the mindset to take some more time to arrive at the location to do the complete survey on battery and solar power.
After 4 hours we will take a lunch brake and connect the vessel to a fast charger with solar or other green electrical power supply.
Side by side working together with an experienced Naval Architect we have made several projects to a success.
Engineering is done with all stability checks and steel or aluminum cutting files.
A new design/ /modification we have started is to update the vessel Borealis to a Full electric Survey vessel.
You will do your sailing to the location and the survey on location with Battery power.
Sailing with 8 knots on Battery power to the location and with at least 6 knots you will do the survey.
Also a design we made is the so called "Cutter Assist'
A strong steel workboat 8 meters long and 3 meters wide with a depth of approx. 60 cm. Also a removable cabine is available.
Perfectly to be used with removal and refitting Cutter floating lines.
A 110 Kw motor with a big propeller generates enough power to do a proper job.
